Jeremy and Michaela held their wedding at the Castle in May. We so enjoyed having them here; their vintage theme fit the Castle perfectly!
In May, the Castle had the pleasure of working with Basic Bash Events on a ceremony at the Castle. Go check out their blog here to see more of the event!
Photographer John Kubat took photos of the Midlands String Quartet at the Joslyn Castle last fall. The Castle is such a fitting background for the String Quartet photo shoot! If you are interested in contacting John, you may email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Marcia Hinkle, Chris Hake, Molly Moriarty, and Margaret Lim make up the quartet. They offer music for weddings, receptions, or other special events. Learn more about the quartet at www.midlandsquartet.com!
Pam and Mike’s wedding was one of the first events I was a part of as the Castle’s Rental and Event Coordinator. It rained almost all day, which was more than a tad worrisome with an outdoor ceremony. And, the florist mistakenly sent along a sympathy bouquet with the wedding flowers!
However, the rain let up within minutes before the ceremony started and it ended up being a beautiful day. Pam and Mike were so wonderful to work with, and I wish them the biggest “congrats!”
Enjoy a peek into Pam and Mike’s day by Carly Urbach Photography. You can see more her work here.
The Nebraska Wedding Day blog recently featured the “real wedding” of Maggie and Addison. Their ceremony was at the Castle, and their reception was held at the Livestock Exchange Building. Please check it out here!
The Castle is thrilled to be featured on Martha Stewart Weddings Online! We are included in their “14 Fairy-Tale Castle Wedding Venues in America.”
They love the Castle because “the shaded front porch calls for pre-ceremony sippers or post-ceremony cocktails.” Please check out the entire feature here!
Kim and Dan held their ceremony at the Castle in October. The couple and DoubleTake Photography graciously allowed the Castle to share some images from their time here! The pictures really seem to capture the couple’s personality, complete with a Muppet-themed twist!

Addison and Maggie were married at the Castle mid-September. The forecast for the weekend predicted rain, so the ceremony was moved in the Castle but as you can see, the sun held out long enough to get some gorgeous pictures of the couple outside! The couple’s photographer, Erin Dunaway, kindly shared her pictures from the wedding! Her work can be found at http://www.erindunawayphoto.com/, and the post specifically featuring Maggie and Addison can be found here. Enjoy!
Camilla and Andrew were married at the Castle on a Sunday in September. Their photographer, Andrew Johnston, was kind enough to share some of his images from their wedding! You can check out Andrew’s website here: johnstonweddings.com. And, you can see more photos of the wedding on his blog as well, at johnstonweddings.com/camilla-andy/.
One of the Castle board members, Catherine, was kind enough to send along this image of her friend’s engagement on the Joslyn Castle grounds!
The bride’s photo of her engagement is darling and sweet. She captioned the photo with…
“Once upon a time … a prince asked a girl to marry him, and they decided there was no better place than a castle to begin their happily ever after…”
Thank you to Krissy Nelson for letting us share your photo!
